Singapore Train Travel is Economical and Easy!

Every visitor must experience Singapore train travel!

Getting around by the train or what the locals call MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) is the best tip you can get when exploring the island. All the stations, including the airport and many tourist spots are well connected by the train system and the prepaid transport cards made the frequent use of the trains convenient and cost effective. Drawbacks – firstly, half of the time the train operates underground, so you don’t get most of the city view, what you see is mostly some residential areas when the train is on the outside rail, and secondly, though you don’t see the Tokyo-style “push men” being deployed to cram the maximum load into the train, don’t expect too easy a time pushing your way into the cabins through the closing doors during the peak hours either.

Taking trains in Singapore is easy. Short waiting time, plenty of helpful directional signs, and speedy rides.
