Charming Fort Canning Park

Indulge in a slow, tranquil walk in this green oasis – Fort Canning Park. Enjoy its sprawling lawns, majestic trees snarled with age, visit the Spice Garden of exotic spice and herbs, and catch glimpses of the running squirrels, hanging bats and colourful lizards.

Once the residence of Singapore’s colonial leaders and a military base in the Second World War, Fort Canning Hill is today a unique city park in the heart of the Civic and Cultural District of Singapore, overlooking busy Orchard Road. It has also become a choice venue for staging many big popular events such as art exhibitions, theatre carnivals, and open-air ballet.
