Great Singapore Duck Race

The last Great Singapore Duck Race was held in 2007.

Then millions of red and yellow colored rubber ducks were set afloat to race in the Singapore River, with each “adopted” by a contestant for 10 Singapore dollars. The winning duck won for its owner a big cash prize and funds raised from this event in Singapore went to several local charities. The carnival held in conjunction with the event, pretty sight of the millions of ducks, and cheering crowds brought to all a very happy, festive mood. Hope this colorful event can make a surprise comeback¬Ö

Thousands come to be fascinated by these millions of bright yellow, floating ducks. Go, go, all the way to the finish mark!
